Two of the biggest sneaker releases of 2019 have been the Travis Scott’s Jordan 1 High en Jordan 1 Low. Today we take a closer look at the Jordan 1 High Travis Scott.
The details on this pair are insane. For example, the well-known ‘Cactus Jack’ logo on the back of the shoe. Or did you know that they have a hidden heel pocket? And let’s not forget about the reversed Swoosh. The reversed Swoosh has been used previously on other Nike silhouettes, but Travis Scott was the first one who used the reversed swoosh on this iconic silhouette, the Jordan 1.
Travis Scott lists the Jordan 1 Silhouette as his all-time favorite sneakers. When he got the chance to work with his favorite silhouette, he wanted to reintroduce it but with a new perspective. And so he did.
The colors he used on the Jordan 1 High Travis Scott are the tones that remind him of growing up. For example, the inspiration of the colors come from tones and textures that remind him of his backyard and playing outside when he was younger.
